The North Channel Coalition is committed to serving the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children.

Since its beginning, the volunteer members of the NCC have worked to support victims of domestic violence in the North Channel community through crisis intervention, vocational and social education, financial aid, and support services.

The NCC is made up of an Executive Board, a Board of Directors, and an Advisory Board.

The needs of these women once they enter a shelter are great. Often times, they suffer both the physical and mental effects of being abused.

Some of the support services currently offered include:

- a domestic assault response team (D.A.R.T.)

- social service education workshops

- year-round emergency needs assistance

- Thanksgiving baskets

- Holiday assistance for families in the North Channel Area.
